"Peel suspected this of being a reprint of [DumouIin, J.N.S.] Notice sur les missions de la Rivière-Rouge et de Sault Ste.-Marie. 1824 (Gagnon I : 199). He now considers them two separate items. Tentatively ascribed to Alex. Taché by Wagner. "Contains a full account of the evangelisation of the Northwest, and a short account of F.N. Blanchet and Modeste Demers' journey to Oregon in 1838":- Wagner."-- Strathern, G. M., & Edwards, M. H. (1970).
