"Binder's title: Travels in North America. Two pages of errata bound in at end of text. The introductory history of the fur trade has been attributed by J.B. Tyrrell to Roderick McKenzie. Alexander Mackenzie's two exploratory expeditions from Fort Chipewyan on Lake Athabasca, the first from June to September, 1789, down the Mackenzie River to the Arctic, the second to the Pacific via the Peace and Fraser Rivers, from October, 1792 to August, 1793, were compiled from Mackenzie's notes by William Combe, ref.
