Shows capitals and other cities, sea routes, famous places, bodies of water, islands, mountain ranges, submarine cables. Insets: 4 4.5 cm diam. maps of south pole, north pole, east hemisphere and west hemispheres. The map is surrounded by flags of countries, military and ships. Text 15.3 x 63.2 cm., with following data as of Meiji 6: heads of the countries, ambassadors, treaty dates, religion, comparative population sizes of capital cities and countries, size of the navies, educational facilities, distances from Tōkyō, weather, colonies, imports, exports and gross national products, precipitation.
