Emma Crosby, Fort Simpson, B.C., to Eliza Douse [Mother]. Expresses appreciated for the latest children's clothes received from her mother. Notes that Mr. Crosby is in Wrangle, Alaska again, in order to meet with a Presbyterian who may set up a mission there. Describes tragic circumstances surrounding the loss of six men while returning by canoe from the Queen Charlotte Islands. Discusses new arrivals to Fort Simpson, including two girls from Alaska who have come to stay with the Crosbys.
